The Inner Armor Performance Profile provides a comprehensive baseline assessment of over 15 key physiological performance metrics related to the functioning of the autonomic nervous system, focusing on areas such as binocular vision, respiration rate and consistency, heart rate frequencies, and skin conductance and temperature.This data provides a personalized map for improvement, helping individuals enhance their performance and resilience. Based on the baseline metrics, users begin training with check-points to reassess and objectively measure changes.

Precision training is a vision training program designed to develop – or improve – fundamental vision skills essential to academic, athletic and overall visual performance.

Vision training is used to improve one’s ability to make accurate eye movements, thereby reducing eye-brain strain. 90% of the sensory information humans process each second is visual so ensuring your eyes and brain operate efficiently is crucial to performance.

Through the Inner Armor Precision program users will train five key visual skills (Convergence, Divergence, Saccadic movements, pursuits tracking, response time) to improve the their upstream neurovisual processing and downstream performance

Power training is a breathing and heart coherence training program designed to develop a consistent diaphragmatic breathing pattern to increase heart coherence. Increased heart coherence can increase one’s heart rate variability (HRV), focus, attention, and recovery. 

Heart rate variability (HRV) mirrors the balance between the body’s stress-response system and its recovery mode. When HRV is high, your nervous system shows flexibility, allowing you to bounce back quickly from physical and mental stress.

This adaptability leads to faster recovery, increased resilience to mental health challenges, and a more positive outlook. Regularly practicing slow, deep breathing boosts HRV, enhancing nervous system health and optimizing your capacity for peak performance in high-pressure situations. Inner Armor Power program trains how to be and stay in a coherent state.

Focus

Focus training is a breathing and self-regulation training program designed to cultivate sustained focus by altering skin conductance and skin temperature, activating the parasympathetic nervous system. Learning to control emotional arousal through skin conductance regulation, can sharpen focus to maintain clarity during high-pressure situations. Similarly, increasing peripheral blood flow, reflected in warming your hands, activates the body’s relaxation response, helping shift from a stressed state (sympathetic) to a relaxed state (parasympathetic). 

Achieving high skin temperature and low skin conductance, creates an ideal calm, yet highly focused state, allowing you to perform at your best while maintaining a sense of control and composure. This foundational training will help you shift from an uncontrolled “fight or flight” state to a controlled, relaxed state, optimizing brain function.

The Inner Armor app teaches users how to optimize the autonomic nervous system via targeted vision and breathing protocols. Starting with the fundamentals of diaphragmatic breathing, connecting the breath to our heart-rate (resonance/coherent breathing) to increase Heart-rate variability, and using the breath to raise skin temperature and lower skin conductance, the Inner Armor program will teach you to be more resilient.

PRACTICAL TRAINING EXCERSISES

All protocols can be completed in ten minutes or less, providing a practical training to integrate into your daily routines

Gamification

Users are assigned training protocols and rewarded with points when goals are achieved. Once the user has properly learned the techniques, they advance to the next training protocol.
